Mental Prosperity is your secret sauce

Image
You hear it. It is written about. You actually believe it. But do you do anything about it? Some call it, Law of Attraction, others, Positive Mental Attitude I use the term Mental Prosperity. Because to me you have the possibility to have everything you want if you can learn to harness your mind. You hear it. It is written about. You actually believe it. What are you doing about it? Prosperity is the state of being prosperous. Duh! That means successful in live and finances. Success doesn't just happen. Success is defined as the 'progressive realization of a worthwhile dream or goal.' That means you have to achieve it. Work towards it. The same is true for using Mental Prosperity. Developing your mind so that you can learn to use it in the achievement of your goals. What are you doing to grow your mentality? What are you doing to broaden your knowledge. To broaden your knowledge of how you can take action with the knowledge you gain to create greater success in your life?

How does the boss decide who is next to be let go?

How does one go about selecting who will be downsized and who won't? Do you like how we have transitioned from who get's fired to who will be downsized? A much softer term for those who are facing the ax. But the reality seems to be that more and more companies are trying to downsize. And that means people will be losing their jobs. But who gets let go and who stays? How is it decided? Is it random or are the statistics? Every company or organization faces these situations. You have watched as the pushy jerk, sexual harasser, and overall buttheads seem to keep their jobs. WHY? The reality is, the people who are seen as the strongest, most dominant, most successful, greatest assets, are the ones the company needs to keep. The 'nice-guys' and the 'nice-girls' are pushed aside, pushed around, ignored, and put down most often. And these are the people who most times are the people who are let go from the company first. I have trained organization where the 'nic

10 things managers do to upset their employees Are you wanting to be a great manager?  Maybe see if you are doing any of these ten things and work had at never doing them again. 1.      Not listening to employee feedback and concerns -   Most employees have stated that numerous times they feel like their boss does not listen to them, their ideas, and their concerns over what is happening. o     What can you do about this? o     Become a good listener even if you think they won’t have anything to contribute. Listen. o     Never negate what they have shared. Simply say things like, I hear what you are saying. I will look into this area. I have no idea these things were bothering you. I am happy you brought this to my attention. 2.      Not providing adequate training and resources - One huge area that concerns all employees, is not receiving training that will help them do their job. Not have access to areas, programs, software, that could help them learn and be more effecti

The Greatest Selling Secret

Image
I have interviewed 🎤hundreds of successful sales people on my podcast.  Better than that, hundreds of successful people. Not just sales people. And every single one shared their 'secret' to success. Here is what is odd. Very few had the vaguest idea what was their real secret to being so successful. They thought they knew and they shared it. Talked in detail about it. Many said they used a specific technique to close.  Others said, they put the emphasis on the buyer.  Others said they found what the client wanted/needed/thought they needed. But very few really understood what it was that made them great at sales.💬 Even though they used it ever single time. There were only a few that understood exactly what they did to make them so successful. Those that did were almost ten times as successful as the others in income, sales ratios, happiness, and comfort with being successful. Would you like to know what the greatest secret is for being successful? Knowing when to shut-up .

The Number One Method for Conversational Excellence

Image
When you think of people having conversations what do you think of? When we ask people, what makes something a great conversation most people struggle with the answer. How about you? What is your answer to this question? Go back and read the question again. What is your answer? People will typically say, listening, being aware, showing interest, being attentive. Yes, those are a must but what does it take to have a great conversation?  It takes, questions. Without questions it is merely a one way communication. Not a conversation. A conversation is two way communication. Why? Because in all valued conversations there has to be meaningful information transmitted between the parties involved. And without questions you might think you are giving them great information. They are bored and stopped listening 3 min ago but you kept talking. The greatest gift is listening but along with the gift you must offer that other gift, questions. Questions keep you interested. Keep them sharing. Help

18 Reasons Why People Are Afraid Of Public Speaking Matt Kramer Overcoming Fear ,  Public Speaking I know intimately the gut-wrenching, free-falling feeling of glossophobia (fear of public speaking) and I know many more who have dealt or currently deal with it now. Two words:  it sucks! One of the most important things you can do when it comes to problem solving, is to  IDENTIFY  the problem. Many of the reasons we humans fear public speaking are universal and well-known; many others haven’t even been defined. I decided to compile a list of the most common fears people have of public speaking in order to help bring them out into the open.  Some are in a league of their own but you’ll also notice that several of the fears listed below are mixtures of one or more of the others. See if you can relate to any of them. Let's get started:  1 .  Being judged People form opinions of just about everyone they come into contact with. You do it, I do it. Accept the fact tha
